Issued: 8:10 PM CST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 7 am EST /6 am
CST/ Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* expect occasional light snow mixed with sleet and freezing
drizzle this evening to give way to some steady light snow
   overnight.

* An additional 1 to 3 inches of snow will fall tonight. Minor
ice accumulations under a tenth of an inch will also be
   possible through midnight.

* Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will cause patchy blowing and
drifting snow, mainly near the Bay of Green Bay.

Impacts...

* the wet and heavy snow along with minor ice accumulations will
result in continued slick roads through the night. Travel will
   be difficult on untreated roads.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

* a Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow, sleet,
or freezing drizzle will cause travel difficulties. Be
prepared for slippery roads and limited visibilities, and use
   caution while driving.

* Prepare, plan, and stay informed. Visit www.Weather.Gov/MQT
