Special Statement
Issued: 3:01 PM EDT Apr. 27, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Strong gusty winds to continue through the afternoon...

Wind gusts to 40 mph will continue across the region this
afternoon. A strong storm moving over Lake Michigan was bringing
the winds to the area. This storm will move north this afternoon
and into Canada tonight. Expect the winds to die down some late
this afternoon with gusts to 30 mph expected and then even more
overnight as the storm moves away.

The strong winds can pick up light object outdoors and make
driving difficult for high profile vehicles. Use caution if
outdoors this afternoon.
