A Flood Warning continues for
Tittabawassee river from Midland downstream into Saginaw.
* From now until further notice.
* At 11 am Friday the stage is 23.3 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 24.0 feet.
* Major flooding is forecast.
* Forecast is to rise above flood stage by around noon...
and crest around 31.5 feet tomorrow morning.

The National Weather Service in Detroit/Pontiac has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
Bay County in southeastern Michigan...
Midland County in southeastern Michigan...

* until 300 PM EDT

* the Flood Warning is extended due to flooding that is ongoing and
considering the time needed for water to recede. At 905 am EDT,
Doppler radar indicated rain diminishing over Midland and Bay
counties. Only scattered light showers are expected for the rest
of the morning which will help flooding begin to recede.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Midland, Bay City, Auburn, Pinconning, Coleman, Sanford, Kawkawlin,
Essexville, Edenville, Linwood, Oil City, Pleasant Valley, Munger,
hope, Mount Forest, Crump, Bombay, Porter township, North Bradley
and Poseyville.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, country roads, farmland, and other low lying
spots.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely.
