... Flood Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Wednesday evening...

The Flood Watch continues for

* a portion of northwest Washington... including the following
counties... Clallam... Grays Harbor... Jefferson... Mason and
Whatcom.

* From this evening through Wednesday evening

* heavy rainfall is expected along the southwest slopes of the
Olympics and the Cascades of Whatcom and Skagit counties tonight
and Wednesday. The Skokomish River in Mason County is most
likely river to flood in this pattern. Other rivers coming off
the Olympics including, but not limited to the Satsop and Elwha, could
also reach flood stage. The Nooksack river in Whatcom County has
the best chance to reach flood stage out of the rivers that flow
off of the north Cascades.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
flood warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
