The Flood Warning continues for
the East Fork White River at Williams.
* From Tuesday afternoon to Tuesday may 09.
* At 6:00 am Sunday the stage was 4.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by Tuesday early afternoon and
continue to rise to near 11.9 feet by Friday evening. The river
will fall below flood stage by late Tuesday morning.
* At 12.0 feet... river begins to be noticeable as water backs up in
local streams. State Road 450 closes in several locations. Higher
campgrounds flood. Most roads in the flood plain are impassable
above this level. Huron-Williams Road begins to flood south of
Port Williams Road.

the East Fork White River near Bedford.
* From Tuesday afternoon to Tuesday may 09.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is forecast to have a maximum value of 24.8
feet Friday morning.
* At 25.0 feet... extensive lowland flooding is in progress. Bedford
boat club is accessed by boat only. Some local residents walk to
their homes. Several roads are closed including sr 450 east of
Williams and stumphole bridge Rd. In western Lawrence County.

The Flood Warning continues for
the East Fork White River near Rivervale.
* From Monday evening to Tuesday may 09.
* At 10:30 am Sunday the stage was 13.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... rise above flood stage by tomorrow late evening and
continue to rise to near 27.6 feet by early Friday morning. The
river will fall below flood stage by late Tuesday morning.
* At 28.0 feet... extensive river flooding in progress. Residential
areas near the river begin to flood. The County bridge locally
known as the Buddha bypass bridge becomes inaccessible. Several
local roads are flooded including Duncan Rd/Tunnelton Rd... Fort
Ritner at the underpass and Post office... old Buddha Rd... Tunnelton
Rd at the rr crossing and west Sparksville bridge Rd.

The Flood Warning continues for
the East Fork White River at Seymour.
* Until further notice.
* At 9:45 am Sunday the stage was 15.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 12.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 16.9 feet by
early Tuesday morning then begin falling.
* At 17.0 feet... flooding becomes more extensive. Although this level
is fairly frequent... many local and state roads flood. Seymour
Gravel Pit begins to flood. Livestock and equipment must be
relocated to higher ground. High water surrounds river residences
near Rockford. CR 760 E south of river gaging station is
impassable.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of central Indiana, east central Indiana, North
Central Indiana, south central Indiana, southeast Indiana,
southwest Indiana, and west central Indiana, including the
following areas, in central Indiana, Bartholomew, Boone,
Clinton, Decatur, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Howard,
Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, rush, Shelby, and Tipton. In
east central Indiana, Delaware, Henry, and Randolph. In North
Central Indiana, Carroll. In south central Indiana, Brown,
Jackson, Lawrence, and Monroe. In southeast Indiana, Jennings.
In southwest Indiana, Daviess, Greene, Knox, Martin, and
Sullivan. In west central Indiana, Clay, Fountain, Montgomery,
Owen, Parke, Putnam, Tippecanoe, Vermillion, Vigo, and Warren.

* Through Monday morning

* multiple rounds of thunderstorms are expected through tonight on
top of rain that has already fallen. Another couple of inches of
rain are possible over all or parts of the watch area.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should flash flood warnings be issued.
