* Flash Flood Warning for...
northeastern Ripley County in southeastern Indiana...

* until 1115 PM EDT.

* At 817 PM EDT... radar indicated that thunderstorms had produced
heavy rain across the warned area. Heavy rain continues to fall
with another 1 to locally 2 inches possible through 10 PM. Runoff
from this excessive rainfall will cause flash flooding to occur.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Milan and Osgood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Move to higher ground now. Act quickly to protect your life.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

The National Weather Service in Wilmington has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
northeastern Ripley County in southeastern Indiana...

* until 945 PM EDT.

* At 751 PM EDT... radar indicated thunderstorms with heavy rain
moving slowly east across northern Ripley County. Doppler radar
estimates indicate that 1 to locally 2 inches of rain has fallen
since 7 PM. Up to another inch of rain will be possible through 9
PM.

* Minor flooding of low lying and poorly drained streets... highways
and underpasses will occur. In addition... farmland near creeks...
streams and drainage ditches will experience minor flooding.

Some locations that will experience minor flooding include
Milan... Osgood... Sunman and Ballstown.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Do not enter or cross flowing water or water of unknown depth.
