... Icy spots this morning along with patchy fog...

In areas that had rain last evening roads and sidewalks were wet
overnight, and now that temperatures have fallen below freezing,
that water had turning to ice. There will be icy spots on roads
and sidewalks this morning until the sunshine melts it off. Be
especially careful on bridges if driving, and on steps if walking.

Patchy fog formed overnight and was reducing visibility in spots.
This was also depositing a thin layer of ice on roads and
sidewalks.

Allow extra time as you head out this morning and be prepared for
slippery spots and areas of lower visibility in fog. Slow down and
remember that a Road or sidewalk that looks wet may actually be
icy.
