... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 7 am EST /6 am
CST/ Saturday...

Hazardous weather...

* periods of wet and heavy snow will occur tonight, possibly
   mixing with or changing to freezing drizzle and sleet at times
   this evening.

* Expect an additional 1 to 4 inches tonight. The heaviest
   snowfall totals are expected from near Iron Mountain to Cornell
   to Round Lake and areas to the northwest. Minor ice
   accumulation, less than a tenth of an inch will also be
   possible through late evening.

* Winds gusting as high as 30 mph will cause patchy blowing and
   drifting snow, mainly through this evening near the Bay of
   Green Bay.

Impacts...

* the wet and heavy snow along with minor ice accumulations
   will result in continued slick roads into this evening.
   Travel will be difficult on untreated roads.
