... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect from 5 am to 11 PM
MST Sunday...

* snow amounts... 5 to 9 inches between 5000-7000 ft msl and 9 to
13 inches above 7000 ft msl.

* Winds... westerly about 12 mph or less. Stronger winds along
ridgetops... with gusts 25 to 35 mph.

* Timing... snowfall will begin early Sunday morning with the
heaviest snow expected to occur Sunday afternoon and evening.

* Impacts... snow will accumulate on all mountain roads...
creating a travel hazard. Idaho highways 55 and 21 will become
snow- covered.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory for snow means that periods of snow
will primarily cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for snow
covered roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
