Issued: 9:21 AM CST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory now in effect until noon CST today...

The dense fog advisory is now in effect until noon CST today.

* Timing... through the late morning hours.

* Visibility... down to 1/4 mile at times... especially in low
lying areas.

* Impacts... reduced visibility values will lead to poor driving
conditions. Slow down and drive with caution in low visibility
areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down...
use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
