... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until 11 am MST this
morning...

* snow amounts... highly variable. Little additional accumulations
expected in the Boise Metro area... with up to an inch east of
Boise and along the foothills of the upper Treasure valley. Up
to 2 inches in the Owyhee Mountains and an additional 1-3 inches
expected in the Boise Mountains. A chance of freezing rain and
sleet in the valleys this morning.

* Snow levels... 2500 to 3500 feet.

* Winds... southeast 10 to 20 mph.

* Timing... precipitation will taper off late this morning.

* Impacts... travel hazard due to ice and snow-covered roads and
ponding of water in low-lying areas.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
