Winter Weather Advisory
Issued: 8:27 AM CST Feb. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Winter Weather Advisory remains in effect until midnight CST
tonight...

* short term trends... a transition from light rain and drizzle to
light to occasionally moderate snow is expected from Interstate
35 and to the east this morning. Meanwhile, west of Interstate
35, light to moderate snow is expected for the rest of the
morning as temperatures remain steady or slowly fall.

* Additional snow accumulations... 1 to 3 inches.

* Winds/visibility... north winds at 20 to 30 mph are expected this
morning with gusts over 40 mph. Visibilities will below one mile
will become common as snow intensifies this morning and may drop
below one half mile from time to time by afternoon, mainly in
rural areas.

* Impacts... roadways may initially develop minor icing later
this morning and then become snow covered later today. Blowing
