... Winter Storm Watch remains in effect from this evening through
Thursday afternoon...

* ice accumulations... a trace to 0.05 inches.

* Timing... the chance for freezing rain and sleet begins this
evening and persists into Thursday afternoon. Ice should only
occur for an hour or two during that time... but may last longer
in some locations.

* Locations include... Interstate 5 between Ashland and Yreka...
Highway 99 between Ashland and Keno... Highway 140 over the
Cascades... Highway 62 through Prospect and Union Creek...
Highway 138 between Toketee Falls and Diamond Lake... and
Highway 97 northeast of Weed.

* Impacts... even a small amount of freezing rain and sleet can
produce extremely dangerous conditions on roads and walking
surfaces.
