... Potential for accumulating snow in the higher elevations of
southeast Wyoming tonight through Saturday morning...

The next Spring storm will track southeast toward The Four
Corners region tonight and across the southern rockies by Saturday
morning. Showers with a thunderstorm or two will develop along
and west of Interstate 25 this afternoon. Rain will then become
more widespread across the remainder of southeast Wyoming later
this evening with rain changing to snow for elevations above 6500
feet tonight. Snowfall may occur down to 5500 feet Friday and
Friday night.

This storm system may produce hazardous winter travel conditions
along Interstate 80 between Cheyenne and Rawlins due to snow and
blowing snow. At this time, light to moderate snow accumulations
will be possible. If temperatures trend colder than current
guidance supports, snow totals may be higher. Persons planning
travel across southeast Wyoming tonight through Saturday morning
should monitor the latest forecast information on this developing
winter weather event.
