Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 1:46 AM CST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect until 9 am CST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect until 9 am CST this morning.

* Timing... dense fog will last through mid morning.

* Impacts... visibilities under 1/4 mile at times in dense fog will
lead to hazardous driving conditions. In addition... frost on
area roads will create slick driving conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
