The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a

* Flood Warning for...
north central Douglas County in east central Nebraska...

* until 845 am CDT Wednesday

* at 244 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated that heavy rain caused
rises in parts of the Papillion creek basin. The stage of the
gauge near 120th and fort street was slightly above the 24 foot
flood stage as of 220 am. Minor flooding is likely around that
site. Farther upstream near Kennard and Bennington... the big
Papillion creek was high but within banks.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Omaha and Bennington.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
