... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 815 PM EDT for
southwestern Montgomery County...

At 548 PM EDT... local law enforcement reported flash flooding south
of Mount Sterling near the intersection of Kiddville Road and levee
Road. A swift water Rescue was ongoing. Up to an inch and a half of
rain has fallen. Flash flooding is already occurring.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Jeffersonville... Camargo... Prewitt... Lower Spencer... Upper Spencer...
Klondike and coons station.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around... don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for...
southwestern Montgomery County in east central Kentucky...

* until 800 PM EDT

* at 501 PM EDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause Urban and Small Stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to one inch of rain has fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Mount Sterling... Jeffersonville... Camargo... Prewitt...
coons station... Lower Spencer... Upper Spencer and Klondike.

Additional rainfall of around an inch is expected over the area.
This additional rain will lead to minor flooding. If rain does
persist, an upgrade to a warning may be needed.
