Special Statement
Issued: 9:52 PM CDT Jul. 26, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Strong thunderstorms with torrential rainfall possible late
tonight through early Friday...

Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected Thursday
and Thursday night across the Ohio Valley. Any thunderstorm that
develops will be capable of producing torrential rainfall.

Basin average rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible
across southern Indiana and central Kentucky. Isolated rainfall
amounts of 3 to 4 inches will be possible where storms repeatedly
track over the same area. This may result in some localized
flooding in typical flood prone and poor drainage areas.

Stay tuned to NOAA all-hazards weather radio and your local media
for the latest updates.
