Dense Fog Advisory
Issued: 3:39 PM CST Jan. 19, 2017 – National Weather Service

... Dense fog advisory in effect from 8 PM this evening to 9 am
CST Friday...

The National Weather Service in Omaha/valley has issued a dense
fog advisory... which is in effect from 8 PM this evening to 9 am
CST Friday.

* Visibility... dropping to 1/4 to 1/2 mile. Could be near zero in
some spots.

* Impacts... drivers are encouraged to slow down and allow extra
time to reach destinations.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving, slow down, use
your headlights, and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
