The National Weather Service in Goodland has issued a dense fog
advisory... which is in effect until 11 am MST /noon CST/ Friday.

* Timing/duration... through Friday morning.

* Other impacts... where temperatures are below freezing, the fog
may deposit a thin glaze of ice on elevated and exposed
surfaces.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A dense fog advisory means visibility will frequently be one
quarter mile or less in fog. If driving... slow down and be
prepared for sudden drops in visibility... especially near
rivers... creeks and low lying areas. Use your headlights on low
beams and drive defensively.

Areas of fog will persist across the area through the rest of the
night. The fog may be dense at times with visibility reduced to
less than a mile. Where temperatures are below freezing, the fog
may deposit a thin glaze of ice on elevated and exposed surfaces.

Hazardous travel conditions may be encountered the rest of the
night due to reduced visibility and icy spots. This includes
Interstate 70 between Stratton, Colorado, and Hays, Kansas.
