Macon County in middle Tennessee...

* until 115 PM CDT

* at 1121 am CDT... Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will
cause minor flooding in the advisory area. 1 to 2 inches of rain
have already fallen. An additional 1 to 2 inches of rain is
possible in the advisory area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Gallatin... Lafayette... Hartsville... Westmoreland and Bethpage.

   Lewis... Macon... Maury... Montgomery... Overton... Perry...
Pickett... Putnam... Robertson... Rutherford... Smith... Stewart...
Sumner... Trousdale... Wayne... Williamson and Wilson.

* Through late tonight

* widespread showers and thunderstorms expected late tonight
through Thursday will lead to locally heavy rainfall of 2 to 4
inches with higher amounts. Intense rainfall rates may lead to
several inches of rain in a short amount of time.

* Flash flooding is possible with the heaviest downpours...
