Issued: 9:10 PM CDT Jun. 24, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river near LeRoy
* until further notice.
* At 9pm Saturday the stage was 27.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 24 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 28.3 feet by early Monday morning then
begin falling.
* At 24 feet... flooding of low lying farm and pasturelands. Cattle in low
lying areas need to be moved to higher ground.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Tombigbee river near Coffeeville dam
* until further notice.
* At 8pm Saturday the stage was 35.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 29 feet.
* The river will continue rising to near 36.5 feet by early Monday morning then
begin falling.
* At 40 feet... widespread flooding of Timber and pastureland. Portions of
State Highway 114 east of the river becomes covered by water.
