The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
north central Baldwin County in southwestern Alabama...
northwestern Escambia County in south central Alabama...

* until 1215 am CDT

* at 617 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across the warned area. Up to three inches of rain
has already fallen. Flash flooding is expected to begin shortly.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
McCullough, i65 and CR 1, i65 and al 21 and Poarch creek
reservation.

Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches will be possible in the
warned area over the next few hours.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

central Escambia County in south central Alabama...
southern Conecuh County in south central Alabama...

* until 845 PM CDT

* at 651 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in
the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain have already fallen.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Brewton, East Brewton, Castleberry, Riverview and i65 and al 113.

Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is expected over the area. This
additional rain will result in minor flooding.

A flood advisory means river or stream flows are elevated, or ponding
of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.
