Flood Warning
Issued: 2:15 AM CDT Apr. 29, 2017 – National Weather Service

The Flood Warning continues for
the Caney river near Ramona.
* From this afternoon to Monday morning, or until the warning is
cancelled.
* At 2:00 am Saturday, the stage was 9.47 feet.
* Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the Caney river near Ramona is expected to rise above
flood stage late this afternoon and continue to rise to near 28.5
feet by Sunday morning. The river is expected to fall below flood
stage Monday before dawn. This forecast is based on a
heavy rain forecast for the next 48 hours. Crest height and timing
may change as this event unfolds. Continue to closely monitor
updates to this warning.
* Impact... at 28.0 feet, moderate agricultural flooding occurs from
Ochelata to the northeastern tip of Tulsa County. Some rural roads
are impassable including the Road between Ramona and Talala.
