... A line of showers with heavy rain will affect northwestern
Camden... northeastern Northampton... Hertford... gates... southern Isle
of Wight... and Southampton counties... the southwestern city of
Chesapeake... the city of Franklin and the city of Suffolk...

At 807 PM EDT, showers with heavy rain were located along a line
extending from Newsoms to near Suffolk to near Corapeake. Movement
was northeast at 35 mph.

Rainfall amounts of up to 1 inch are possible with these showers.

Locations impacted include...
Franklin, Ahoskie, Murfreesboro, Windsor, Courtland, Boykins,
Gatesville, Sunbury, downtown Suffolk, Holland, Chowan University,
Chesapeake, Suffolk, Isle of Wight, gates, Conway, Winton, Cofield,
Ivor and Newsoms.

Motorists should use extra caution in the vicinity of these showers.
Be prepared for rapid changes in weather and Road conditions. Heavy
rain could cause ponding of water on roads... and possible minor
flooding of ditches and poor drainage areas.
