* surf... 5 to 8 feet with sets to 11 feet... lowering to 4 to 6
feet by late Wednesday morning. Highest surf south of Carlsbad.

* Impacts... strong rip currents and dangerous swimming
conditions. Large waves can wash people off jetties and rocks.
