* flood advisory for...
southeastern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas...
north central Fort Bend County in southeastern Texas...
southeastern Waller County in southeastern Texas...
northwestern Harris County in southeastern Texas...

* until 115 am CDT.

* At 1018 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
One to two inches of rain has already fallen as these storms moved
through the area.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Katy, Jersey Village, Spring, greater greenspoint, northern Addicks
park ten, WillowBrook, carverdale and greater Inwood.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.

... Strong thunderstorms across northwestern Galveston... east central
Fort Bend... northeastern Brazoria... west central Chambers and
southeastern Harris counties through 1215 am CDT...

At 1137 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a clusters of strong
thunderstorms between Manvel, southeast Houston and Galveston Bay,
moving northeast at 20 mph.

Half inch hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Pasadena, Pearland, League City, Baytown, southeastern Missouri City,
Texas City, Friendswood, La Porte, Deer Park, Alvin, Dickinson, South
Houston, Seabrook, Webster, Manvel, Beach City, Kemah, greater hobby
area, Clear Lake and Fresno.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for southeastern
Texas.
