for southwestern Randolph... southwestern Upshur and northern Webster
counties...

At 914 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Holly river
state, or 9 miles northeast of Webster Springs, moving southeast at
25 mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Webster Springs, Addison (webster springs), Holly river state, Diana,
Monterville, Eden, Helvetia, Pickens, Cleveland, Waneta, Hacker
Valley, Kanawha Head and Bergoo.

northeastern Nicholas County in southeastern West Virginia...
southwestern Braxton County in north central West Virginia...
southern Webster County in northeastern West Virginia...
northeastern Clay County in north central West Virginia...

* until 945 PM EDT

* at 900 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles southwest
of Gassaway, or 9 miles southwest of Sutton, moving southeast at 40
mph.

Hazard... 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

Source... radar indicated.

Impact... hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Richwood, Webster Springs, Gassaway, Addison (webster springs),
Camden-On-Gauley, Birch River, Craigsville, Camden On Gauley,
Harrison, Cowen, Widen, Frametown, Strange Creek, upper Glade,
Boggs, Little Birch, Calvin, Ivydale and Erbacon.

This includes Interstate 79 between mile markers 48 and 61.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of southeast Ohio and West Virginia, including the
following areas, in southeast Ohio, Athens, Gallia, Jackson
OH, Meigs, Morgan, Perry, Vinton, and Washington. In West
Virginia, Barbour, Braxton, Calhoun, Clay, Doddridge, Gilmer,
Harrison, Jackson WV, Kanawha, Lewis, Mason, northwest
Fayette, northwest Nicholas, northwest Pocahontas, northwest
Randolph, northwest Webster, Pleasants, Putnam, Ritchie,
Roane, southeast Fayette, southeast Nicholas, southeast
Pocahontas, southeast Randolph, southeast Webster, Taylor,
Tyler, Upshur, Wirt, and wood.

* Through Sunday morning

* rounds of showers and thunderstorms, with heavy downpours are
expected through Sunday morning. This coupled with wet soils
across the area could produce flash flooding, especially along
small streams, creeks, low spots and poor drainage areas.
