... The Flash Flood Warning remains in effect until 1030 PM EDT for
east central Mason... northeastern Putnam and southwestern Jackson
counties...

At 845 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy
rain across the warned area are diminishing, but light to moderate
showers will continue through 930 PM. Thus, the warning will
continue.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Monday morning...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of northeast Kentucky, southwest Virginia, and West
Virginia, including the following areas, in northeast
Kentucky, Boyd, Carter, and Lawrence KY. In southwest
Virginia, Buchanan and Dickenson. In West Virginia, Boone,
Cabell, Clay, Jackson WV, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, Mason,
McDowell, Mingo, northwest Fayette, northwest Nicholas,
northwest Raleigh, Putnam, Roane, southeast Fayette, southeast
Nicholas, southeast Raleigh, Wayne, and Wyoming.

* Through Monday morning

* showers and thunderstorms with heavy downpours are possible
through Monday morning. This, combined with saturated soils
from previous rainfall, will create a threat for flash
flooding.

* Flooding of creeks, streams, and poor drainage areas are
expected, particularly in areas that experience repetitive
storms.
