... Winter Weather Advisory in effect from 2 am to 7 PM EST
Tuesday...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow... sleet and freezing
rain... which is in effect from 2 am to 7 PM EST Tuesday.

* Precipitation type... snow... sleet and freezing rain

* accumulations... up to 1 inch of snow and sleet... and up to a
tenth of an inch of ice.

* Timing... a wintry mix of snow... sleet and freezing rain will
overspread the area between 2 am and 6 am early Tuesday morning.
Precipitation will change to freezing rain after dawn on Tuesday
morning and continue through Tuesday afternoon.

* Impacts... untreated roads and sidewalks will become slick and
hazardous due to ice.

* Winds... southeast 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 20 mph.

* Temperatures... in the low 30s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.
