Special Statement
Issued: 4:49 AM EST Dec. 5, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Snow ending early this morning...

A fast moving weather system brought some light snow overnight to
the southern Poconos... northern New Jersey and parts of the Lehigh
Valley. In spite of the snow... surface temperatures have remained
above freezing in many ares and so little or no accumulation is
likely. The exception would be in the higher elevation of the
Poconos and parts of northwest New Jersey where temperatures are
below freezing and some accumulation is possible.

The snow is rapidly ending from west to east and should be done
before sunrise this morning. However some slippery roads are
possible... especially on bridges and overpasses... so morning
commuters should exercise caution. Skies will become sunny by mid
day and temperatures should warm enough to melt the snow.
