Issued: 6:08 AM EST Dec. 11, 2016 – National Weather Service

... Winter Storm Warning remains in effect from 4 PM this
afternoon to noon EST Monday...

* locations... Bennington and western Windham counties in southern
Vermont... and northern Berkshire County in western Massachusetts

* hazard types... snow.

* Snow accumulations... 6 to 10 inches. The higher totals will be
at elevations greater than 1500 feet.

* Timing... light snow will overspread the region during the mid
to late afternoon. Steadier snow... some moderate to heavy in
intensity... will develop late tonight and continue through
daybreak Monday. The snow will gradually decrease in intensity
during Monday morning.

* Impacts... snow covered roadways and reduced visibilities due
to falling snow.

* Winds... south to southeast at 5 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25
mph.

* Temperatures... in the mid and upper 20s.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow means severe winter weather
conditions are expected or occurring. Significant amounts of snow
are forecast that will make travel dangerous. Only travel in an
