... Coastal flood advisory remains in effect until 3 am EDT
Friday...

* location... the New Hampshire seacoast and the beaches of
southwest Maine to the south of Portland.

* Coastal flooding... the combination of high astronomical tides
and long period waves will create a threat for splash over and
beach erosion near the time of high tide tonight. Some minor
coastal flooding is also possible.

* Timing... near the time of high tide tonight, around 1242 am in
Portland.

* Impacts... the potential exists for splash over and minor beach
erosion.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the
shore.
