The smoke has diminished

By: wxranger , 9:43 PM GMT on August 28, 2014

We've been clear of smoke for a while now. We are all thankful for the work of the firefighters both on the ground and in the air. There is a lot of personal property damage and environmental too; one grows back slowly and building can be rebuilt.

We can now concentrate on the arrival of fall and then, inevitably, winter. Love the seasonal changes, fall is my favorite by an far.

As a side note, I replaced the rain bucket with the newest model form Davis for my VantagePro2. Very nice with bird spikes and better hand grip.
