Second Oracle Rain for Oracle - March 1-2

By: strid3r , 11:13 PM GMT on March 02, 2014

After the February 1st rain, the remainder of last month had stayed warm and dry with no further rains. But a cold front that arrived to the region this weekend was able to break the dry spell and dump badly need rain to most parts, with a little rumble of thunder for entertainment.

Just after midnight on March 1st the cold front came through and Oracle received 0.48" of off-and-on rain, which continued into the next morning of March 2nd with an additional 0.34" of rain, totaling a reasonable 0.82" for this storm.

Also this past week, our lilac bush has started growing its leaves for this year. I am sure that bush and all the plants and trees around are grateful for the new moisture.
