When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle. - Edmund Burke

Graphics up top here and a note to you below them.
Rainy or not, here it comes:
Swirling the night (and day) away:
Clouds and fog and snow, oh, my!
Note to WU-friends:
It is always a bit of a jolt when a fellow WU-blogger disappears, isn't it? Sometimes they tell you they're going – whether to do something else, or, in a huff – and officially close their blog to comments. Sometimes they just fade away, dropping down the list as the numbers in the “Updated” and “Last Comment” columns get larger and larger. Maybe it's a blog you normally only lurked through or were just used to seeing in the list. Maybe it is someone with whom you have built a relationship who will be genuinely missed.
In any case, it feels weird to not see that handle showing up.
I don't think I get that many readers so I'm not too worried about causing mass trauma, LOL, but do feel that I should explain myself if I'm going to disappear for awhile. So, to put it simply, I have a few projects that are going more slowly than I would like and need to refocus my attention on those projects. Hence, I am closing my blog to comments for some unknown period of time.
No worries - everything is fine and dandy here in SP and in sp-land – I just have no self-discipline!
In fact, I'm sure that I will be lurking through blogs and occasionally commenting (and checking weather, of course) so I hope to not get totally out of touch.
This entry will be here so I'll keep the graphics posted in case anyone wants them.

I was loath to create a new entry because the last one was the answer to life, the universe, and everything, but, as it turns out, that depends on how you count.
In the end I decided that, since it is my second favorite month, February deserves its own entry.
Not that this one is much different from the last... LOL
Here comes the rain again...
[The swirlies have been rather indistinct, you see]
Huffin' and puffin'...
Nice to see WU - thanks for dropping by :)
