We have had about 10.6 inches of rain in the past 30 days. Yesterday we had 2.2 and the ground was already saturated. I guess we've had at least an inch or more today. Thank heavens we're on high ground because the rivers are above flood stage now. Our yard is basically some grass floating on a pond. The kids are going stir-crazy and frankly I am too.
Just for interest's sake we looked it up and we had about 73 inches of rain last year. Where we used to live, Bothell, WA (near Seattle) had 40-something inches last year. It's like living in a tropical rain forest.
