This is a blog for "people". You're not defined by your latest & greatest. You are you and that's great enough.

Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. Life is great here in El Paso and I have much to be thankful for and that leads to the QOD:
As we sit down with family and friends what are you thankful for?

Well since it is election day I think a question is in order.
We should see quite an impressive Republican showing just as the last election was for the Democrats. We will see in the next two years if it makes a difference.
The real crux of the issue for me is entitlements and I think we each define that word differently. I was amused by a blogger awhile back who said he had never and would never utilize any entitlement. I wanted to ask him if he attended public school, drove on public roads or had ever utilized the services of the police and fire departments. I decided for the sake of peace to refrain. I often have wondered what it would be like if there were no entitlements. What would be the outcome? I actually think we would not be the country we are if there were truly none. I think we would revert back to the point of nobles and serfs and I doubt that would be a good outcome and that leads to the QOD:
Which entitlements do you approve of and which are you against?
