By: plapman , 1:12 PM GMT on November 10, 2013

Today will be cloudy with a few flurries beginning this morning. The wind westerly at 20 km/h becoming northerly 30 near noon. Today's high will be -2C(28F) but the temp will fall to-10C(14F) this afternoon.
Tonight will see flurries ending this evening then mainly cloudy as the north wind at30 km/h becoming light this evening. Tonight's low will be -16(3F).

Yesterday I shortened my walk with Abbey. It's time to dig out the long johns. The Canada geese are still here though.
The leaves have finally started to fall from my big trees in the backyard. This year I'll have to get off of my butt and get the eve troughs cleared once they've all dropped.
I'm still working on the clock project but can't decide to leave it as a wall clock or continue with the miniature grandfather clock. I'm running out of wall and shelf space.

Hi Tony, sorry I have been missing in action for a couple of days. The computer has been giving me a bit of grief and I only have been able to get back online this morning. I will see how it works the rest of the day before I call the guy back and cancel tomorrows appt to come and fix it. I managed to finally get on so we will see if I can shut if off later and then open it up again. I am having startup problems with it.

Anyway have a great day. Stay warm. Its going to cool here today down to 34F as this blast from the West comes upon us. Thank goodness its only for a couple of days then back up into the mid 50s by the wknd.

Hi Tony!

Hubby and I are looking for long johns ourselves, as it's getting downright chilly our way as well! We're still digging our way through the many leaves that keep dropping into the yard. It's become a never-ending battle this year. Thankfully, our younger neighbor helped out, yesterday, by cutting a few branches off and blowing the accumulated debris off our roof. We'll reciprocate with snowblowing his driveway, come snowfalls, and giving a gift certificate for the holidays.

Sorry you're still caught up with that hearing aid debacle. I'm stunned that only one aid is under warranty?? I'd still call the head of your government's medical insurance dept. to complain about this audiologist's lack of properly functioning medical supplies and services.

If you're running out of wall/shelf space for your miniature grandfather clock, perhaps it's best to create a remodeled free-standing one. I bet when all is said and done, it'll still end up being a real prize winner!

Hope you stay warm, well and continue to pace yourself while either outside or in! Thank goodness, neither of us has yet to contend with any accumulated snow! Unfortunately, it won't be too much longer till we end up having to dig our way out again!
