The Snow Is Gone The Fields Are Growing

By: plapman , 2:34 PM GMT on May 20, 2013

Good morning
I thought I'd put an update on the conditions at the Northern Edge.
The piles of snow have all gone and the local farmers are seeding.
I've been getting Abbey out for her daily walks
Here is a photo of the snow covered field that was in previous posts.

I've been getting Abbey out for her daily walks otherwise it's just sitting and watching the rain fall. It looks like were going to get as much rain as we had snow over the winter.
I always say the sun is shining even it's cloudy. I know that above the clouds is bright sunshine.

Good Afternoon, Tony!

Glad your respite from WU was short-lived and am enjoying the view seen from your webcam of a few colorful blossomed tulips! Sure beats the lengthy ice and snow scenes of weeks ago!

Looks like that La Prairian farmer now has quite the fertile land to plant many lucious crops of the season! To me, Canada and Maine are about tied when it comes to their phenomenal seasonal produce! YUM IN THE TUM!

Hope this sudden return, over the holiday weekend, to chillier rainy weather won't last too much longer. We've become too spoiled with sunshine and temps in the 70's. Will be curious to learn what summer has in store for us this year. Thus far this year, our weather has seemingly been so unpredictably harsh and abnormal. Hope we return to more seasonal normalcy real soon!

Have a pleasant and safe Memorial Day Weekend!

Hi Tony, have been negligent in getting back at ya, good to see the farmer working the field, no flooding to speak of, you guys got off good this spring. Now hope the rains hold off and seeding is complete.

Any amount of rain you want taking place around here, no let up insight. Donna about two weeks behind in her yardwork and Garden Centre visits, once things let up look out.

Have a good one.

Good morning Tony, Good to see you back on WU. Been sunny and warm here, temps in the low 80s. No complaints except the house was really warm last night. Gonna have to think about putting on the AC if this keeps up.

Hope your having a nice holiday Monday. Take care and enjoy.
