Never Ending Winter On The Prairie

By: plapman , 12:13 PM GMT on April 08, 2013

Toda will bring a few flurries ending near noon then a mix of sun and cloud. The wind northerly at 30 km/h. High The high will be -6C(21F) but falling to -10C(14F) this afternoon.
Tonight will bring clearing this evening with the north wind at30 km/h becoming light early this evening. The overnight low will be -19C(-2F)
Yesterday when I took Abbey for her walk it was snowing but melting as it hit the ground. I took her on an in town route to try and keep her dry but that didn't work. She smells bad when wet.
This morning when I let her out I saw the Queen's car was covered in snow again. I don't think this winter will ever end.

Hi Tony, saw that on the weather network here that more snow squalls were in your forecast. Jeeze makes me think back when I was a kid in the 50s and Dad was cutting hay in June and the next day we got a half foot of snow. Hope these trends are not coming back now. I remember that as being a very cool summer for the Ottawa region. Glad I live in a more civilized area now...LOL

Have a great day dear one. Stay warm.
