What To Do At 6:00 am

By: plapman , 5:28 PM GMT on November 17, 2012

Well I woke at my usual time, around 5:30 and got up. Without posting on my blog I thought what am I going to do now that is quiet so as not to wake the others in the house.
So the Northern edge will reopen with the dull tails of me and Abbey on our daily walk.
Yesterday Abbey brave the ditch crossing and made it to the gopher trails. The snow is about a foot deep out there and she was hopping along smelling bunny tracks. It sure is good exercize for her. On our last visit to the vet the vet said maybe Abbey would loose some weight with summer comming but I think Abbey gets more exercise in the winter as she fights her way through the snow.
The car in the ditch that I posted a photo of a couple of days ago is still there. With the city making a windrow of snow along side the road the fellow is going to have to rent a front end loader to get it out as well as the tow truck operator being very careful as not to roll it on it's side.

ROFLMBO..love Shores ideas for 6 AM... I did all my work before 6 AM, cleaned bathroom, cleaned kitchen, started laundry, vacummed and swept all the floors. House is clean and tidy, now enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Foggy as a London peasouper here this morning, temps bordering on 36F with a projected high of 54F. Not a bad day once this fog burns off. Can't even see across the street, it's so thick.

Well dear ones, hope you have a great morning. Catch you later.

Things to do at 5 a.m.

1. Tell the cat to be quiet
2. check the temperature
3. tell the cat to be quiet
4. feed the cat and try for another half-hour sleep
5. Lay in bed wide awake, finally get up to make coffee and find the cat sound asleep in a chair.

Sometimes there's nothing more blissful than a silent house! :)

Maybe if we get a big snow I can run through the drifts so I can get rid of my big belly! :)

Good morning Tony. Ah to have the house all quiet is a blessing sometimes but it's also nice to have company up with ya too. Another sunny day here in SW Ont with mild temps and very little breeze. House chores to do today so will save going out grocery shopping until tomorrow morning when there won't be as many at the store. I hate it when you have long lineups at the tellers. I find my patience wears thin this time of the year towards fellow shoppers. That is why I must get my xmas shopping done this week so I don't have to face the craziness in Dec. Don't forget I carry a big steel stick and I know how to swing it...LOL

Got my property assessment in the mail the other day, was really shocked in one way to see that my property has depreciated by 5000.00 but that will mean my taxes should go down. They base the value on age of the house (l950) and what some of the properties have sold for on my street. I have seen some of them and I can understand why values have went down but damn I should still get a good price for this one as I have the largest lot and the house is better kept up than most here, new roof, new furnace, floors done. Only thing that is left is a new bathroom and that will come eventually if I stay here. I even have a new deck out back that was not there before. So yes my sale value is much more than my tax value.

Anyway, hope you have a great day dear one. Thanks for keeping the Blog open. We would miss you if you left us for any length of time.

At 6am take advantage of having the house all to yourself.
