Abbey has learned to stay out of the ditches. Yesterday on our walk I detoured through a parking lot so abbey could run free safely and she found a fresh bunny trail which she followed through the foot of snow until it came to a ditch where she turned and came back to me. On our return trip when we left the parking lot Abbey got on the wrong side of the ditch and wouldn't cross until we got to the railway tracks which service McCain's.
The Queen had some excitement at work last night. While working she heard a loud bang and hissing sound. It turned out to be a 3 inch steam pipe bursting. Luckily no one was was in the vicinity and scalded.

Good morning Tony. Another nice day once it warms up is in our forecast with temps in the mid 40s and lots of sunshine. Going to head out to Smitty's for a late breakfast once all the frost burns off the lawn....Yup was a cold one last night especially at 3:30 when I put food out for the kitties and whatever showed up. The night before last, I had a young coon venture on the porch to get at the kibble but he soon took off when I banged on the door. Think I scared the bejessus out of him...LOL

Well have a great Friday dear one. Take care of yourself.

Woooh, that would have been scary having a steam pipe burst. Glad the Queen is okay. Knowing what explosive steam can do i may have had to go change my pants if I was there.
Abbey never cease to amaze me how smart she is.

Good morning Tony, yup I am actually up at a decent time this morning. LOL Finally fell asleep around 4:30 this morning but alas its a bright sunny day, calm and very pleasant out. Temps will be in the mid 40s today. I might be able to get my old butt out and about if I can find the energy. Time for a cup of coffee to revieve up the old engine and get my putt putt in gear...LOL

Glad to hear all was well at the Queen's work and that no one got hurt. Have a great day dear ones.
