Today will be partly cloudy with a high of -2C(28F) with a windchill as low as -13C(9F). The winds will be from the South at 10 to 15 km/h.
Tonight will be partly cloudy with fog overnight. The low will be -13C(9F). the wind from the SW at 15 to 20 km/h shifting to the WNW after midnight will cause a wind chill low as -13C(9F)

I've been thinking of closing the Northern Edge for a while. It seems that with winter upon us all I do is walk Abbey, watch TV and sit at the computer.

The blogs wouldn't be the same without the view from the basement window, or hearing about your projects or Abbey's walks. You may think your life is boring, but hearing about your daily escapades are an inspiration to those of us who have seen your struggles with your health these past few years.

I remember a year or so ago, you were lamenting about not being able to use the snowblower. Now, not only have you got it running, but you cleared the driveway!

If you are bored with putting up a blog, it is of course your right! Sometimes when it's time for me to find some new cams for my blog, I don't want to fool with it, either, but I carry on, because ultimately, I like the challenge, and folks like it when I post new cams!

Blog or no blog, we still care about you, the Queen, and Abbey, so give us a holler if you shut it down!

How will I see snow out of your basement window?

Do what makes you happy! But still send me some snow!

Tony I have to agree with MUSH and Shores, you do need to keep posting even if its only as a lurker on our blogs so we know you are ok. Just a "Hi" now and then would be great. With winter upon us, its time for you to put your baking skills back in order and start making those delicious pies, cakes and treats you have become famous for.

Myself I hope to get back to writing again or at least make an attempt at it. Also would like to get back to my pastels, working on some art projects. I have ideas, its just finding the energy to start.

Well anyway dear one, what ever you decide to do, know we are here if you need us.

Oh, my. Well, maybe you could take a vacation, or leave it up and just post a couple of times a week. Do what seems best to you, though. These things aren't meant to be a chore or something that eats away at other projects you'd like to do!

Believe it or not, we do like keeping up with you, so a post now and then would be good. Otherwise, we're all going to be thinking, "What's up with Tony and Abbey?"
