More rain On the Prairie

By: plapman , 11:32 AM GMT on June 11, 2012

Today will see moere showers with the risk of a thunderstorm. Amount 5 to 10 mm(0.2 to 0.4 in). The wind southwest at 20 km/h (12 mph) becoming westerly at 40 km/h (25 mph) gusting to 60 km/h (37 mph) this morning. Today's high will be 16C(61F) with the temperature falling to 9C(48F) this afternoon. UV index 3 or moderate.
Tonight will see the showers ending early this evening then clearing. The wind northwest at 30 km/h (19 mph) becoming light late this evening. The overnight low will be 4C(39F).
------------------------------------------------- ---
I've lost faith in the weatherman. Yesterday's high was never reached or even came close. I got Abbey out early to avoid the warmth and ended up avoiding the cool rain.
The repairs to the folding table project never worked out but I think I can still fix it. Today I'll give it another try. When I get it right I'll start on the picture frame project.

Good morning Tony. I see the morning crew got here before me. I was up early too but ended up going back to bed for a couple of hours of extra sleep and somehow you snuck in and put up your blog....LOL

Rain and T storms in our forecast today too but so far nothing too much. Will just have to wait and see. Still hot with a high humidity reading. Oh well, its that time of the year isn't it?

Have fun with your project. Hope it works for you today.

Hey Tony good to see your are still on this side of the turf. Looking at the temps you folks will be having a snow warning if this keeps up, beautiful here, near 20C and lots of sun.

Indeed the MOONRAKER is gone, all hands accounted for, quite an event. Ten feet one way or the other not a problem, crew asleep at the time, once they hit the deck water up to thier knees. They managed to keep their cool and got off into the liferaft, with only one guy in the water. He was the biggest fellow aboard, over 300 lbs, a few minutes of concern getting him to safety, all worked out. Major blow to Maurice and crew moving forward that enterprise very good return even with the huge investment, over $2M lost.

Have a good one.

Mornin Tony, Steve takes all those blood thinners too. Not fun when you whack something. Take care and try not to cut your finger. We had the storm from H last night. We had over 20,000 lightning strikes. Got over and inch and a half of rain and lots of wind. So we got puddles to play in too. Have a great Monday,

I am first?
