Still warm On the Prairie

By: plapman , 12:22 PM GMT on June 08, 2012

Today will bring a few showers ending late this morning then a mix of sun and cloud . there is the risk of a thunderstorm this morning. The wind will be westerly at 30 km/h (19 mph). Today's high will be 27C(81F). UV index 8 or very high.
------------------------------------------------- -
Another hot day today and with the showers the temp will feel even higher. I spent sometime in the garage yesterday looking for something in the hoard but never did find it. Once I started to get too warm I came in and cooled off. I sure do dislike being housebound. I did get Abbey out for a short walk later in the evening but didn't let her run the gopher trails.
Today I'm going to try to convert some old cassettes I have into cds and attach my lengthened hands to the clock I've made from pieces in the hoard once the Queen has headed off to work.

Hi, Tony! How are you going to convert the cassets to CDs? Is there a cable connecting the cassete player to the computer, or are you just putting a microphone on the player and recording it on the computer?

Keep cool!

Good Morning, Tony!

I hope those forecasted storms, for your area, head other than my way today. This morning, we're finally seeing bright sunshine, blue skies and increasing warmth after a week of weather misery!! Supposedly, there's a threat of potentially serious t'storms to effect us later this afternoon. So far, there's nothing on the radar to indicate it, but that's because the cold front hasn't pushed far enough our way as yet. At least, our weekend's looking quite rather summery and spiffy! LOL! Can't wait to thaw out again!

Sorry to hear that you remain hampered by the heat while outside, but it sounds like you have a lot of other productive activities to tackle indoors. Enjoy, good luck and continue to pace yourself!
