A Visit With the New Grandson

By: plapman , 10:58 AM GMT on May 07, 2012

================================================= Today will see showers with 5 mm(0.2 in) of moisture accumulating. The wind becoming northwest at 20 km/h (12 mph) early this afternoon. Today's high will be 14C(57F).
Tonight will be cloudy with a 60% chance of showers and the wind northerly at 20 km/h (12 mph). The low will be 6C(43F).
------------------------------------------------- ---
I managed a walk with Abbey yesterday after the showers had ended and the Queen and I visited the daughter and her new arrival. Both are doing well and the little guys big brothers are spoiling him just like they did his 2 year old brother. Her home is oppisite to mine, she has 4 boys, a husband and a male dog whereas I have 5 females to contend wih as well as Abbey.

Good Morning, Tony!

Sounds like you and the Queen spent a terrific Sunday doting on your new grandson, his Mom and other siblings. I didn't realize how conveniently close they all live to your home. For some reason, I thought it was your daughter, who lives in Newfie, that had the new grandson. I get so easily confused these days. LOL!

As Ylee mentioned below, hope that swirling dervish of storms, currently above you, doesn't descend on La Prairie today. Thankfully, we finally have another bright, sunny day in store for us, with a return to some warming 70F degrees! Hubby and I plan on making the most of it outdoors, as the chillier rainy weather returns tomorrow and should last throughout most of the week. Currently in Mass., our long range forecaSt for Sunday, May 13th, (which is Mothers Day and my hubby's coinciding birthday), looks to be a sunny warm 77F! It would be the perfect weather for celebrating both! Fingers crossed!

Have yourself a decent Monday, despite any inclement weather, and try to pace yourself with those daily in or outdoor activities.

Good morning Tony. Enjoy the little one. I am sure you can't wait for him to start walking so you two can go and play in the backyard...you will have to stock up on little cars and trucks as well as a baseball glove and maybe some farm animals...I can just see you two now....(brings smile to my face)

Anyway have a great Monday. Raining here so I can't do much outside. Just too wet. Oh well at least I got the lawn mowed yesterday so that is one big job I am glad is done.

Good morning, Tony! i suspect Grandpa will be spoiling the youngest one in short order, as well as teaching him bad habit! :)

Looks like the radar is making circles around you! Don't get soggy! :)
