A Bunny Chase For Abbey and Disappearing Cinnamon buns

By: plapman , 11:49 AM GMT on April 15, 2012

Today will bring increasing cloudiness and a 30% chance of showers late this morning and early this afternoon. The wind becoming northerly at 40 km/h (25 mph) gusting to 60 km/h (37 mph) this morning will bring cooler air from the north causing the high of 6C(43F) to fall to 0C(32F) this afternoon. UV index 4 or moderate.

tonight will be clear with a northerly wind at 40 km/h (25 mph) gusting to 60 km/h (37 mph) diminishing to 20 km/h (12 mph) after midnight and the temps will continue to fall to -10C(14F).

Once the rain quit and the sun shone yesterday I did get Abbey out for a 3 mile walk. Abbey got in a bunny chase and came back panting. I guess the vet was right she is a bit on the chubby side. The extended walks we've been getting in should solve that problem.
With the cool wet forecast today I think I'll stay home and work on the broken cuckoo again.

I guess the cinnamon buns weren't as bad as I thought. The 15 I made are all gone. Maybe today I whip up a batch of brownies.

Morning Tony:
I'm not a walker so when I'm dog sitting Jupiter or Roxy (which lately seems most of the time) they get their exercise by charging out the dog door to bark at the squirrels. I'm supposed to drop Roxy at my daughter's place this morning on the way to work. Daughter is tending the concession stand at baseball practice and Roxy will be bringing in custom.
Shore's point is well taken: if I am stumped on a project I look for some other portion I can work on to further it. Sleeping on it often helps. I don't sleep on the job exactly - but it is there whether I want it or not.
Now and then an idea will present itself given time.
During the wait I mention the problem to anyone - even the owner I happen to be working for - and try to listen to their take on it.
Sometimes you just have to try something - I often "mock" up a shape and see if it will fly.

Good to hear you got out and about a little! And, that you're going to make another run at the clock. I have found that sometimes - not always, but sometimes - if I set something aside and come back to it, I have more luck the second time. They always say "FOCUS"!, but I think sometimes we can get so focused we can't see the real solution - you know, the one hanging out over there on the side, eating a brownie and having a cup of coffee! LOL
