A Long Walk For Nothing

Drizzle and fog ending this morning then cloudy. Wind becoming south 20 km/h (12 mph) this morning. High 6C(43F).

Overcast. Wind south 30 km/h (19 mph) becoming light before morning. Low 5C(41F).

Abbey out on the downtown route to get milk. When i Got home I found a full 4 liter container in my old beer fridge. It was qite a trek carring the 4 liters almost a mile. Almost a galon of milk gets heavy after a while.
The youngest at home daughter will be 18 on the 4th of April. It will be quite a day for her as we plan to give her any information we have on her birth parents. Due to the fact that we fostered her for 3 years before adopting her we know who the birth parents are which is unusal in an adoption. We're trying to contact her former social worker to be there when we tell her as he said he wanted to be there but has since retired.

Good morning Tony...don't feel bad, I had just called my cab to go to the docs when his office called and postponed the appt again until the end of Apr. I will eventually get to see him, at least his nurse has renewed my meds so I have no worries there. Since I was dressed, I ended up doing my grocery shopping before the "others" decided to hit the store. Its pension and welfare check day so it will be busy later. At least my taxi driver carries the groceries into the house for me so that helps.

So I guess now that everything is put away I can go and put on my nightgown again and go to bed since I had only 4 hrs of sleep. Better eat something first though as I already took my diabetic meds earlier.

Have a fun day and yes I know what you mean about bags of milk getting heavy after a while. If I lived closer to you, I would give you my little cart that I got to put odds and ends in like that when I go up to the corner 7-11 store. With the extra milk now, you can do some baking...
