I got Abbey out on our 2.5 mile route yesterday and gave her her free run. I lost sight of her once in long grass but all it took was 1 whistle to bring her running back to me.
The doctors visit went well yesterday. He weighed me and I've lost 20 lbs. since last August. I feel like Buck, my previous dog, who had bowel problems and went from 105 lbs to 80 lbs when we had to put him out of his misery.
What a busy place this morning. The youngest daughter got a wake up call from a friend she walks to school with and the grand daughter and her 2 little ones just showed up. The Queen will be up soon after all the disturbance. She never got much sleep after going in late again yesterday after my 4pm doctors appointment abd working till 1:30am to get her work done. While she has a nap this afternoon before work I'll get Abbey out and leave the house quiet for her.

Good Morning,
Sounds like good enough walking weather. It is supposed to be nice today so it's off to sleep "early" to get out in the yard with Roxie to enjoy the sunshine and plants.

Good afternoon Tony. Looks like a nice day here in SW Ontario with temps in the 60s and lots of sunshine. Just signed up for a new Gas high efficiency hot water heater that will cost me 12.49 a month rental. The old one was owned by an American group and you could never get it serviced. It will be good to get rid of this piece of junk and be done with these knitwits.

Glad you are getting out and about with Abbey. I am sure she makes sure she is close by even on her free runs because she wants to know you are not making friends with another dog or cat....LOL

If you want a recipe for my Jambalaya, its easy enough to make and good too, just let me know and I will email it to ya....Yum yum...then you can surprise the Queen with something tasty, but so easy....Now I know why all those Cajuns cook it....

Afternoon Tony, fog, showers, hard rain early this morning, seems to be letting up at the moment.
Great to hear the dog as been able to get you ut the house, and see for yourself the lay of the land.

The stats you give about seeding not good, looks as if all southern Manitoba as far away from getting back to normal. Did learn the crest has passed through Winnipeg, soon be in the Lake headed for Hudson Bay. Keep up the walking.
